I like to get results efficiently. Too many companies, and too many consultants, work hard on the wrong things. The culture of overwork is my enemy. I will not be delivering a high-production-value report in a fancy binder, because that won’t help. Instead, I will make your business better.

Okay, I went to Harvard and I’ve worked with companies like Zoom and Shopify. But I do a lot of other stuff.
I co-wrote a weird, non-businessy book of essays called “The Chairs Are Where The People Go”which the New Yorker chose as one of the top books of the year and the LA Review of Books said, “should be required reading for Congress”, even though it’s 10% about chairs.
I taught improv, worked as a software developer, and host a barroom non-expert lecture series which has sold out monthly since forever.
Outside perspective helps. I didn’t come through the often imagination-crushing constraints of corporate culture. And when I started encountering the awful sludge that exists in so many corporate cultures, I became radicalized, and committed my working life to making it better.
