A lecture series hosted by misha glouberman

Trampoline Hall is a barroom lecture series that has been running monthly in Toronto since 2001, and had sold out every show since its inception. The talks range from serious to ridiculous, with the one rule being that speakers cannot be professionally expert on their topic (though they are often very knowledgeable). Misha hosts the shows and runs a Q+A between the audience and the speaker after every lecture. The show has toured to many cities in North America. The Village Voice wrote "we love it," the New Yorker praised its "eccentricity and do-it-yourself inventiveness." It has been featured in many Canadian media outlets, including the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the National Post and the CBC. Visit the Trampoline Hall website or sign up to get announcements about the show. In 2017, Trampoline Hall added a podcast, broadcasting individual lectures from its archives.

“They’ve been doing this for several years up in Toronto… and now New Yorkers are in its thrall. Clearly, we love it.”
