Trampoline Hall

A lecture series hosted by Misha Glouberman

Trampoline Hall is a barroom lecture series that has been running monthly in Toronto since before forever, and had sold out every show since its inception. The talks range from serious to ridiculous, with the one rule being that speakers cannot be professionally expert on their topic (though they are often very knowledgeable).

Misha hosts the shows and after every lecture, he runs a Q+A between the audience and the speaker. His overly-detailed instructions for the Trampoline Hall Q+A were published in The New York Times

“Eccentricity and do-it-yourself inventiveness.”
- The New Yorker

“We love it.”
- The Village Voice

“Turns a Q&A session into a
surprisingly sincere collaboration.”
- The Globe and Mail

The show has toured to many cities in North America. It has been featured in many Canadian media outlets, including the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, the National Post and the CBC. Visit the Trampoline Hall website or sign up to get announcements about the show. Trampoline Hall also has a podcast, which Misha always complains about.
